I study anlytic philosophy. At the same time, I am willing to learn from any classical text and various philosophical schools and traditions, as long as they offer distinctive philosophical insights. I have currently been exploring the nature of intellectual autonomy, emotional virtue, and creativity. My approach is cross-disciplinary among epistemology, informal logic, philosophy of emotion, educational philosophy, psychology and coginitive science. I am open to any discipline only if I believe it brings me closer to truth. I am also interested in Japanese philosophy.
